From Tokyo to the world’s factories

Juki was founded in Tokyo in 1938 and moved into sewing machines after the Second World War, first household and then industrial machines. It became one of the best-known industrial sewing machine makers in the world.

Industrial machines

Juki’s single-needle lockstitch machines, such as its long-running DDL series, along with overlock, coverstitch and specialist machines, are widely used in UK workrooms. Parts and needles are well supported by trade suppliers.

Domestic and semi-industrial

Juki also sells domestic machines, overlockers and straight-stitch machines for home sewers who want speed and a strong feed.
