About PK Sewing Machines
PK Sewing Machines was started in 1982 by two brothers and is still run by the family. Over four decades it has built long-standing contacts across the UK sewing machine trade, working with home sewers, tailors, alteration businesses, schools, workrooms and commercial manufacturers.
The business describes its approach simply: family-run, friendly, fairly priced, and still testing machines on its own bench before they leave the shop.
One workshop, home and trade
Home and hobby: domestic machines, overlockers, embroidery equipment, accessories, repairs and servicing, buying and part exchange.
Trade and industrial: industrial lockstitch, overlock and coverstitch machines, cutting and pressing equipment, trade parts and consumables, and engineering support across the East Midlands.
The parts department
PKSM stocks over 5,000 spare parts, accessories and consumables for domestic and industrial machines across major brands, from needles, bobbins and cases to hooks, loopers, feed dogs and tension parts. For older machines it uses its industry contacts to help source hard-to-find replacements. Send the make and model if you are unsure what fits.
Brands
